cfPBX incorporates redundant components and multiple PBX servers with automatic fail-over so no
single component can bring the system down and even failure of an entire system simply rolls calls over
to another system. While this level of fault tolerance is expensive for a single company, sharing the cost
over many users makes it affordable. While it is possible to get some of these capabilities in
an on-site system, it is usually prohibitively expensive for all but the largest companies.
